# Remotestake Remotestake is a remote job board. Companies post remote jobs; candidates find and apply to them. Pay retains its declared currency, period and basis; missing meaning is never assumed. Expired listings keep their pages. ## Pages - [About](https://remotestake.com/about): how the board works, paid placement and contact. - [Home](https://remotestake.com/): the front door: the live count, every role family and the skills most hired for as links, the companies hiring now, the latest listings. - [Jobs](https://remotestake.com/jobs): all open remote roles, filterable by role family, skill, work style, hiring region and employment type (filters and the sort ride the URL). One listing is `https://remotestake.com/jobs/{slug}`; historical slugs redirect (301) to the canonical, and unknown slugs are real 404s. - Facet pages: `https://remotestake.com/jobs/skills/{skill}`, `https://remotestake.com/jobs/categories/{category}`, `https://remotestake.com/jobs/locations/{scope}`, `https://remotestake.com/jobs/employment-type/{type}` and `https://remotestake.com/jobs/salary/{bracket}`: every open role carrying a skill, belonging to a role family, hiring in a region, of an employment type, or matching an annual USD base-pay band, with related facets linked. Indexable from three open roles. Older addresses redirect (301) to these or answer 410 when the feature is gone. - [Companies](https://remotestake.com/companies): hiring companies; each company's open roles are at `https://remotestake.com/companies/{slug}`, and a company with nothing open is noindex. - [Salary insights](https://remotestake.com/salary-insights): complete positive annual USD advertised base-pay ranges: midpoint median/quartiles, sample sizes, exclusions and title/family groups. No actual earnings or representative-market claim; statistics need three rows. - [Top remote roles this week](https://remotestake.com/insights/top-remote-roles-this-week): rolling seven-day activity among currently open listings, ranked by family with source mix. Source updates count; this does not mean newly created jobs. Ranking needs ten rows. - [News](https://remotestake.com/news): the market wire, an issue a page, all or one topic's (`?topic=`), its reports at `https://remotestake.com/news/{slug}` (noindex); and the weekly market brief at `https://remotestake.com/news/{year}-w{week}`: the roles posted that week, the families, pay, regions, skills and employers, computed from the board itself, every figure linked to its page. ## Machine surface - [Sitemap](https://remotestake.com/sitemap.xml): published, unexpired listings, hiring companies, facet pages with three or more open roles, every weekly brief, analysis pages meeting their sample thresholds, and the site’s About and policy pages. - [Privacy](https://remotestake.com/privacy): what an account stores, who else a record reaches, how long it stays, and the two doors: download the record, or close the account. Written from the code, not from a template. - [Terms](https://remotestake.com/terms): the rules the board enforces: a listing is paid once and runs its days, an apply link is a hand-off and never an application, a report is answered by an operator, a refund is given by asking. - [RSS feed](https://remotestake.com/feed.xml): RSS 2.0, newest listings, stable tag-URI GUIDs. - [JSON Feed](https://remotestake.com/feed.json): JSON Feed 1.1 mirror. - [robots.txt](https://remotestake.com/robots.txt): crawl rules and the Content-Signal policy: ai-train=no, search=yes, ai-input=yes. ## MCP - [MCP server](https://remotestake.com/mcp): Remotestake's MCP server (Streamable HTTP; JSON-RPC over POST). The read tools need no account: board_overview, search_jobs, read_job_collection, read_job_analysis, get_job, get_company, list_companies, market_brief, list_briefs, list_archive and get_article return the same rows and figures the pages show, with canonical URLs; report_listing needs no account either — it says a listing is closed, its apply door broken, misleading or suspicious, and an operator answers. Posting tools (create_draft, draft_from_text, draft_from_link, update_listing, list_my_listings, prepare_publish, check_listing, publish, close_listing, repost_listing, renew_listing, post_similar) need an authorized account: OAuth 2.1 with the jobs:write scope, discovered from https://remotestake.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp. A listing goes live only when its order is paid in a browser. The watch tools (watch, list_watches, stop_watch) need the watch:write scope: an account asks to be told about a search or an employer by email, one message a day at most, only when there is something new. The résumé builder works only on its page; it has no MCP tools. Collection reads retain a country/region, skill+location or skill+title-level intersection. read_job_collection takes an original skill label and a page number; its level is inferred from explicit title cues, never a verified employer claim. It returns the public collection without personal defaults or hidden-role filters. ## Structured data Listing pages carry schema.org JobPosting JSON-LD: Country-typed applicant location requirements (never free-text regions), honest datePosted, validThrough clamped to the close time when a role closes, and directApply=false — applications happen on the employer's site.
