About the Role
Snowflake is seeking an Account Engineer to join its Solution Engineering team. This high-impact, cross-functional role accelerates the customer journey from initial acquisition to successful platform adoption and expansion on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. You will drive initial utilization, leverage modern AI-powered tools and coding agents, and serve as the dedicated technical partner for new and early-stage customers, ensuring rapid implementation, quick value, and a world-class experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of new and early-stage customers, accelerating time-to-value and driving adoption metrics.
- Act as a single point of contact for all customer technical needs, providing strategic advisory on data strategy and technology stack integration.
- Deliver technical value using AI-powered development tools and automation to accelerate solutions and implementation guidance.
- Provide architectural guidance including best practices, workload isolation, warehouse utilization, resource monitoring, budgeting, and RBAC/security setup.
- Collaborate with account teams, internal Snowflake teams (e.g., Professional Services, Support), and external partners to ensure seamless resource orchestration.
- Develop reusable programs such as Hands-on Labs (HoLs) and webinars to educate customers on platform features and best practices.
- Act as a feedback loop to influence product development, working with Product Management and Engineering.
- Triage customer inquiries, assist with demos, troubleshooting, and identify opportunities for expansion.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with SQL is required.
- Strong foundational understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and manage timelines.
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- SnowPro Core certification.
- Proficiency in additional coding languages, particularly Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with modern data technologies (e.g., CI/CD tooling, orchestration tools) or basic understanding of Data Science concepts.
- Prior experience or strong interest in leveraging AI-powered development tools and coding agents.
Compensation & Benefits
