Privacy summary

• Account email and display name when you create an account.
• Listings you post: company, title, salary, description, tags, application URL/email, all chosen by you.
• Listing-view events: a job ID, source bucket, timestamp, and Remotestake social UTM fields only when the visit came from one of our own social posts. We do not store IP, user-agent, or a visitor identifier for poster view counts.
• Apply-button click events: a job ID, source bucket, timestamp, and the same limited social UTM fields when applicable, no IP or user-agent. Used to power dashboard analytics and trending surfaces.
• Sponsored-link click events: campaign ID, surface, timestamp, and referrer host. Obvious crawler, prefetch, and link-preview requests are checked at request time before storage; we do not store their IP or user-agent.
• Saved searches + saved jobs you create explicitly while signed in.
• Aggregate product telemetry, such as page views and performance signals, to find broken or slow surfaces. For not-signed-in browsers we keep one opaque local dedupe token for 24 hours solely to avoid redundant analytics calls. It is not a profile, is not shared with employers or sponsors, and is not used for cross-site advertising.

• Application materials are not used for analytics or sponsor reporting.
• Apply profile fields and the application workspace stay in your browser local storage; they are not synced to Remotestake.
• Click-source IP or user-agent on apply or sponsored-link events.
• Third-party retargeting pixels.
• Browser-fingerprint component data.

We use trusted infrastructure, email, payment, security, and analytics providers to run the product. They process data only as needed to provide Remotestake. We do not sell personal data or share it with advertising networks.

Account + listing data is retained for as long as your account exists. Apply-click events are kept for 90 days, then aggregated and the row-level data dropped. Delete-on-request via hello@remotestake.com.
