Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, offering buy now, pay later without hidden fees. Financial Systems owns the data and reporting foundation for Accounting, building a single source of truth using dbt and Snowflake. We are hiring an Analytics Engineer to maintain and optimize our finance data platform, improving reliability, efficiency, and performance of pipelines and core datasets. Responsibilities: Build and maintain dbt models and core datasets for Accounting reporting and automation; improve platform reliability through testing, alerting, and runbooks; own and document data pipelines and lineage; troubleshoot production data issues; optimize performance and cost in Snowflake and dbt; partner with engineering and business stakeholders; contribute to best practices in version control, code review, documentation, and release hygiene. Qualifications: 3+ years in analytics engineering or data engineering; strong SQL and hands-on dbt experience; modern development workflow with Git and pull-request collaboration; experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred); strong ownership and comfort in ambiguity. Nice to have: finance/accounting data familiarity, integration platforms (Workato, Fivetran), BI tooling, Python, CI pipelines, AI-assisted development. Compensation: Base pay grade K: 226,000 zł - 346,000 zł. Equity from parent company (new hire equity $16,000-$24,000, annual refresh $5,000).
