Android Engineer III

Join the Peloton Product Engineering team within Connected Fitness, building the core software that powers the screens on Peloton Bike, Tread, and Row. Develop the primary member-facing application and shape on-equipment software delivering fitness experiences.

As an Android Engineer, iterate on process, technology, and communication, and assist and grow mid/junior engineers.

• 4+ years software development, 2+ years Android
• Solid experience with REST APIs
• Solid understanding of Kotlin and Java
• Architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI)
• Android threading and processing
• Profiling UI, memory, and threading
• Collaboration with UX/design teams
• Ability to translate requirements into code
• Independent complex engineering tasks
• Cross-team coordination
• Evaluate and communicate engineering solutions
• AI-first coding tools (e.g., Claude Code)
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent

• Automation testing (Espresso)
• Open source contributions
• Continuous build in Agile
• gRPC and GraphQL

Base salary range: $140,389—$168,467 USD.
