Benefits Manager, NAMER

Asana is seeking a Benefits Manager to join the People Team, focusing on designing and scaling benefits programs across North America. This role is based in San Francisco with an office-centric hybrid schedule (in-office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday).

• Own strategy, design, and execution of benefits programs across the U.S. and Canada.
• Manage vendor and broker relationships for medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement programs.
• Serve as administrator for the benefits administration platform, advising on enrollment, data integrity, and reporting.
• Partner with People Operations, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and Talent Acquisition to integrate benefits into the employee lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, and state-specific leave laws.
• Design measurable frameworks for benefits utilization, satisfaction, and cost management.
• Apply an AI-first approach to streamline benefits administration and case management.

• 6+ years of experience in benefits program management, including health & welfare and retirement programs.
• Expertise as a benefits administration system administrator or power user.
• Strong knowledge of NAMER benefits compliance (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, state paid leave laws); familiarity with Canadian benefits is a plus.
• Familiarity with total rewards philosophy and inclusive benefits design.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies.

Estimated base salary range: $164,000 - $186,000. Additional components may include equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
