We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically sound Compensation Lead to own the end-to-end management of our compensation systems. You will ensure systems like Radford (survey reporting) and Pave (cycle management) support Affirm's policies and employees. You will play a key role in day-to-day compensation operations and ensure programs are effective and competitive.
What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end administration of semiannual compensation processes
- Develop and participate in annual compensation studies to evaluate market positioning, including auditing roles, leading benchmarking survey submission/review, and evaluating/recommending updates to cash and equity compensation structures/ranges
- Conduct special projects for ad hoc compensation analyses, including incentive compensation, equity programs, and pay equity analyses
- Own the pay reporting process for various geographies
- Assist with compensation training and communications
What We Look For
- 5+ years of experience in compensation or people analytics
- Experience with compensation management systems (strong preference for Pave)
- Passion for working with data and analytical mindset to turn raw data into actionable insights using tools like Excel/Google Sheets, Sigma Computing, Claude Code
- Attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong team orientation, clear communication, ability to meet deadlines
- Strong judgment and integrity, able to handle sensitive information
- Proven ability to work on problems of diverse scope
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong customer service background
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance
Compensation
Base pay ranges: USA (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT): $145,000 - $205,000 per year; USA (all other states): $128,000 - $188,000 per year. Total compensation may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.
