Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies to deliver the data infrastructure layer. This role focuses on global compliance, employment counseling, and litigation support. The successful candidate will have compliance, employment law, and litigation experience, and the ability to independently manage legal matters while collaborating across functions.
Responsibilities
- Develop policies and procedures related to ethics, export control, sanctions, anti-corruption, and conflicts of interest.
- Conduct internal investigations and oversee compliance hotline monitoring.
- Advise the People Team on employment law matters across the employee lifecycle.
- Manage employment-related claims, administrative charges, arbitrations, and litigation.
- Support disputes involving commercial contracts, vendors, intellectual property, privacy, and bankruptcy.
- Collaborate with all business teams and contribute to special projects.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law.
- 4-7 years of experience, including significant compliance, employment and/or litigation experience.
- Strong judgment and ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
Pay Range: $175,214—$210,265.50 USD
