About the job

Anthropic is scaling its compute infrastructure across a portfolio of data center builds. The Data Center Planning team owns the integrated view of supply: compute allocation, decision locks, forecasting, and frameworks. This role drives the supply model that ties compute supply and capacity targets to the site pipeline, prioritizes opportunities, and shapes processes for site delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Build integrated data center supply forecast and planning assumptions (committed plus pipeline supply by site, design, accelerator type) against growth targets.
  • Own portfolio view of chip-to-site allocation and decision cadence, surface trade-offs, drive lock points, communicate changes.
  • Support and evolve data center portfolio reviews.
  • Partner with technical program management, delivery, and demand planning to keep hall readiness, install plans, and chip supply in sync.
  • Build and run scenarios, develop solvers to recommend gap-closing actions.
  • Plan long-lead resource inventory and strategic allocation.
  • Shape processes for new site entry into delivery tracking and change management.
  • Support buildout of a delivery planning system-of-record with internal tooling team.

Qualifications

You may be a good fit if you have led supply/capacity planning or portfolio management for data centers, power, or similar capital-intensive infrastructure; architected supply planning processes; redesigned delivery/deployment processes at scale; know the full data center buildout lifecycle; built planning models/tools with automation and AI-assisted development; proactively surface opportunities and risks; drive outcomes through influence.

Strong candidates may also have capacity planning, S&OP, or deployment planning at a hyperscaler; supply chain, operations research, or optimization background; experience defining requirements for an internal planning system-of-record; published detailed forecasts.

Compensation

Annual Salary: $320,000—$405,000 USD
