About the job

As a Data Engineer on the Data Science & Analytics team, you will build the foundation to scale analytics across the organization, collaborating with Engineering, Product, and GTM teams to transform data into key metrics and insights.

Responsibilities

  • Translate stakeholder data needs into technical requirements
  • Define, build, and manage data pipelines in dbt to transform raw logs into canonical datasets
  • Establish data integrity standards and SLAs
  • Develop dashboards to track core metrics
  • Build foundational data products and tools for self-serve analytics
  • Influence product and GTM roadmaps from a data systems perspective

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, preferably partnering with GTM and Product leads
  • Expertise in building multi-step ETL jobs, data modeling with dbt, workflow management with Airflow, and version control with GitHub
  • Expertise in SQL and Python
  • Experience with visualization tools like Hex
  • Full-stack mindset and bias for action

Compensation

Annual Salary: $320,000—$405,000 USD
