Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist at Pinterest, you will shape the future of people-facing and business-facing products. You will apply quantitative modeling, experimentation, and algorithms to solve complex engineering challenges, collaborating with cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Design, Research, and Data Engineering.

• Develop best practices for instrumentation and experimentation.
• Bring scientific rigor and statistical methods to product creation and improvement.
• Build and prototype analysis pipelines to provide insights at scale.
• Work cross-functionally to communicate key insights and collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and researchers.

• 4+ years of experience analyzing data in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
• Experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, forecasting, econometrics, or related fields.
• Experience with ML/DL frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Fluency in SQL and a scripting language (Python or R).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain learnings to technical and non-technical partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.

Base salary range: $101,382—$209,296 USD. Eligible for equity.
