About the role
Anthropic's Global Safety, Intelligence, and Security (GSIS) team protects people, facilities, and operations worldwide. The Enterprise Intelligence Specialist joins the Enterprise Intelligence team as a hands-on investigator and analyst, owning the employee and enterprise-level threat picture — the geopolitical, security, and risk environment in which Anthropic operates globally. This is an individual contributor role; the specialist investigates specific threats, actors, and events, produces finished assessments, and briefs stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations and behavior-based threat assessments; produce risk assessments and intelligence products
- Identify, assess, track, and investigate global threats including geopolitical instability, terrorism, crime, activism, nation-state targeting of the AI sector, and emerging security trends, including deep-dive research and OSINT collection
- Produce threat intelligence products such as risk assessments, threat briefs, travel risk guidance, and executive summaries
- Provide investigative support to crisis management, emergency response, and business continuity efforts
- Brief security leadership and cross-functional partners; build relationships with Legal, People, Compliance, DnR, SecEng, etc.
- Work with external intelligence providers, industry peers, law enforcement, and government partners
Qualifications
7+ years of professional experience in intelligence, security risk analysis, threat assessment, or a related discipline; demonstrated experience investigating threats and producing finished all-source intelligence; a bachelor's degree in security studies, international relations, political science, intelligence, psychology, criminology, or a related field. Strong candidates may also have a master's degree, CTM certification, experience supporting global operations or crisis management, familiarity with intelligence tools and OSINT platforms, and prior experience in highly regulated or high-risk industries.
Compensation
Annual salary: $180,000—$230,000 USD.
