Finance Operations Specialist

Verkada is seeking a Finance Operations Specialist to handle the travel and expense process end-to-end with a small team of 4 people. This is a contract role to start, with potential to convert to full-time with strong performance.

• Review employee expense reports to ensure expenses are within company policy, including checking receipts, expense coding, and expense explanation.
• Perform audits and analysis on employee expenses.
• Provide assistance to employees with questions or issues on expense submission, policies, tools, or workflows.
• Assist in coding and reviewing corporate credit card expenses.
• Assist in special projects to improve the travel and expense process.

• BA/BBA/BS Degree from 4-year university.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Proficient in Excel + Google Sheets is preferred.

Estimated Hourly Pay Range: $35—$35 USD. Additional forms of compensation may include sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
