Full Stack Engineer, Foundation

LaunchDarkly is hiring a Full Stack Engineer for the Foundation team, which owns the first mile of the developer journey—from account creation to first flag and beyond. The team is building agentic onboarding flows that work inside a developer's IDE and plug into MCP servers and LLM-powered tooling, with a focus on moving PLG metrics like time to value, activation, and conversion.

• Drive features from problem framing through design, implementation, instrumentation, rollout, and experimentation.
• Build agentic onboarding flows and ship MCP server capabilities and agent skills.
• Instrument and analyze the growth funnel (signup, activation, first flag, first experiment, first paid conversion) and run experiments.
• Partner with product, design, and data; dogfood LaunchDarkly's flags and experimentation.
• Support applications in production as part of a you-build-it-you-run-it culture.

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with features driven from idea to production.
• Shipped AI-first features in production; experience with MCP servers, agent frameworks, or LLM tool-use.
• Strong with TypeScript and React; able to work in Go or Node on the backend.
• Track record of moving product-led growth metrics with instrumentation, funnel analysis, and A/B testing.
• Experimentation habit and collaborative mindset.

Pay: Target pay ranges for Level 3: Zone 1 $171,200–$235,400; Zone 2 $154,100–$211,860; Zone 3 $145,500–$200,090. RSUs, health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits in addition to salary.
