About Anthropic

Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco, focused on building reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems.

About the Role

The Global Mobility Coordinator is the operational heart of Anthropic's global mobility program, responsible for business travel compliance (business visas, posted worker and social security obligations), entity transfers, relocations, international assignments, and short-term placements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own business travel compliance cases end to end, including business visas, PWD, and Social Security registration.
  • Support employees through relocations and assignments from acceptance to arrival.
  • Own the experience of every entity transfer, ensuring employees and stakeholders (Payroll, People Services, Legal) have what they need.
  • Be the first line for global mobility questions, escalating novel cases and turning recurring questions into documentation.
  • Hold providers to their commitments and pick up project work as programs grow.

Qualifications

Minimum: Have worked in global mobility, personally owned cases; relentlessly responsive; explain complicated things simply; look for the repeatable thing inside the manual thing.

Preferred: Experience with entity transfers, business travel compliance including PWD filings, or Social Security notifications; familiarity with Workday, Greenhouse, or Jira; hands-on experience using Claude or other LLM tooling; experience at a startup growing quickly.

Compensation

Annual salary: $135,000—$180,000 USD.

Benefits

Anthropic offers competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space.

Location and Hybrid Policy

Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.

Visa Sponsorship

We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
