Infrastructure Engineer

We’re seeking a skilled and diligent full-time Software Engineer to join our growing team. You will work as part of the engineering team to support and enable internal business units through shared engineering services, build relationships with stakeholders, work with product engineering to extract data for business decisions, and own projects end to end.

Example deliverables include improving observability through metrics, alerting, logging and telemetry; identifying and building improvements for Continuous Deployment; utilizing infrastructure as code in a cloud environment; collaborating on cross-functional infrastructure improvements; and automating upgrades for managed services and VMs.

• Design, build, test, and document core software components.
• Exhibit ownership over running services by building for observability, participating in incident response, and fielding customer support escalations.
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of system resources.

• Experience with CI/CD, secrets management, infrastructure as code, and observability.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Experience operating managed services in a cloud environment (preferably AWS).
• Experience operating Kubernetes in production is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with networks (IP addressing, routing, etc.).
• Most non-front-end portions of the system are developed in Go; experience with Go is a plus.
• Ability to give and process constructive feedback, work independently, and adjust to a dynamic startup environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

US Pay Range: $181,000—$226,000 USD. Compensation package includes base salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Benefits include health, vision, dental coverage, employer-funded retirement contributions (dollar-for-dollar match up to 0.75% of eligible compensation), $1500 USD annually for professional development, flexible paid time off, home office setup (company-owned laptop, monthly internet reimbursement, $500 workstation customization), and paid parental leave (20 weeks for birthing parents, 16 weeks for non-birthing parents).
