About Anthropic: Anthropic is an AI safety company building reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems.

Role: The Infrastructure Tax Lead will own tax end-to-end across Anthropic's compute infrastructure portfolio, embedded with the Infrastructure team and coordinating across Legal, Technical Accounting, FP&A, International Tax, Transfer Pricing, Provision, and Incentives.

Responsibilities: Serve as embedded tax partner on deal intake, structure review, and commercial contracting for tax clauses; create and operationalize datacenter entity structures across jurisdictions; partner on state/local incentives, sales/use exemptions, property tax, and site selection; coordinate on lease-vs-purchase, consolidation, capitalization, and book-tax differences; partner on transfer pricing policy and intercompany compute pricing; support quarterly tax provision impact; build infrastructure tax playbooks and processes.

Qualifications: In-house tax experience at a hyperscaler, cloud provider, or large-scale datacenter operator; experience with multi-jurisdiction entity structures and cross-border withholding; track record of owning integrated tax positions across deal portfolios; cross-functional coordination skills; exceptional communication; comfort with ambiguity. Preferred: 12+ years tax experience, Big 4 or law firm infrastructure tax practice, JD/LL.M./MST, transfer pricing experience, owner-operator transition experience, state/local incentives background, non-US datacenter tax regimes, and existing industry relationships.

Compensation: Annual salary $300,000—$385,000 USD.
