Anthropic is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to serve as a dedicated communications partner to the Core Tech organization, which builds and secures the systems behind Claude. The role involves embedding with technical teams, advising executives, and translating complex technical work into clear narratives for employees.

• Own the internal communications strategy for the portfolio within Core Tech.
• Serve as a hands-on advisor to executives, drafting communications and providing honest counsel.
• Translate deeply technical work into narratives that land with employees across functions.
• Anticipate communications needs and plan for launches, incidents, and organizational change.
• Design strategies to boost signal and reduce noise.
• Plan and execute internal forums like all-hands and AMAs.
• Exercise sound judgment with sensitive material, especially in security contexts.
• Partner with the broader internal communications team for consistent messaging.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years of experience in communications or adjacent fields, exceptional writing skills, experience as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, and the ability to embed credibly with engineers and security practitioners. Strong candidates may also have experience in security, infrastructure, or AI companies.

Annual salary range: $295,000—$345,000 USD.
