Lead Advanced Analytics, Community Support

Airbnb is a global online marketplace for lodging and travel experiences, founded in 2007. The Analytics Centre of Excellence (ACOE) in India provides data-driven decision-making support across business functions including payments, trust, digital, customer support, hosting, sales, social, compliance, risk, platforms, and partnerships & economics.

As a Lead Advanced Analytics for Community Support, you will support strategic business and product initiatives through detailed data analysis, metrics creation, statistical modeling, and development of reporting tools. You will drive business and product decisions across topic areas.

• Design and build metrics/dimensions to monitor product and business performance.
• Build sophisticated reporting, analytical tools, and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Work cross-functionally with Strategic Finance, Data and Analytical Engineering, and Data Science teams.
• Conduct advanced data analysis and statistical modeling to extract actionable insights.
• Advance analytics and data science disciplines, including automating processes and mentoring others.
• Build and scale AI-first analytics capabilities by integrating LLMs, agent-based workflows, and automation.
• Drive adoption of AI tools across teams by embedding them into business workflows.

• 8+ years industry experience and a degree (Masters or PhD a plus) in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research).
• Prior experience in data science, product analytics within a marketplace and pricing/monetization products.
• Deep expertise in measurement frameworks, metric design, and metric creation.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL/NoSQL, programming languages such as Python, R, SAS; intermediate knowledge of data foundations and databases like Presto, Hive, Teradata, Spark.
• Expert with BI tools like Tableau or Superset.
• Experience leveraging AI to build dashboards and automate tasks.
• Familiar with experimentation, causal inference, and LLMs.
• Strong business acumen, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

India Annual Pay Range: ₹3,080,000—₹4,400,000 INR. This role may be eligible for bonus or incentives, equity programs, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
