Lead Product Designer

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, a platform that enables organizations to harness IoT data to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability. We serve industries such as agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing.

We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to drive design and execution for strategic initiatives, delivering end-to-end experiences that impact our customers. This is a remote role open to candidates residing in the US.

• Lead large, ambiguous projects, shipping high-impact designs that unlock significant customer and business value.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering on strategy, planning, and execution.
• Work directly with customers to understand their needs, validate designs, and inform strategy.
• Influence the design team through mentorship and contribute to shaping our culture.
• Champion Samsara's cultural principles.

• 6+ years of product design experience designing UX/UI for web & mobile applications.
• Proven comparable design expertise in interaction and visual design.
• A strong portfolio and/or case studies showcasing design craft and quantified impact (required).
• Demonstrated proficiency in using AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Figma Make) to accelerate workflows.
• Track record of strategic influence and shipping impact.
• Ability to engage effectively with customers for research and strategy.
• Thrives in iterative, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent proven experience working with cross-functional partners.

Compensation: Annual base salary range $137,445—$231,000 USD, plus RSU grant and performance-based bonus/variable pay.
