About the job

About the Role

MongoDB is looking for an analytical, people-first, and execution-obsessed leader to manage our global Candidate Experience (CEx) function. This role owns the end-to-end candidate journey operations across AMER, EMEA, and APAC, building a high-performing, resource-efficient team of coordinators. The ideal candidate is strategic, data-fluent, and operationally minded, able to translate insights into executive narratives, audit workflows, and leverage automation and AI to scale. Candidates must be based in the US for our hybrid working model.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and scale global operations, developing a distributed team of Candidate Experience Leads & Coordinators across AMER, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Enforce rigorous execution quality by setting, monitoring, and enforcing performance metrics (e.g., scheduling SLAs, coordinator productivity, candidate NPS).
  • Design and optimize the global operating model with data-driven capacity planning, factoring in interview loop complexity, time-zone overhead, and regional nuances.
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to audit workflows, eliminate administrative debt, and standardize efficient hiring processes, leveraging AI and automation.
  • Take a holistic view of the candidate lifecycle to design and execute strategic programs that elevate candidate experience.
  • Translate granular operational metrics into high-level strategic business cases for senior Recruiting leadership.
  • Manage vendor relationships with scheduling technology vendors and cross-functional partners to optimize system performance.

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in recruiting operations, candidate experience, or talent acquisition, with at least 3 years of people management leading distributed or global teams.
  • Data fluency with tools like Google Sheets to analyze team capacity, catch scheduling errors, and perform root-cause diagnostics.
  • Experience executing workflow audits and implementing AI, working with modern scheduling platforms (GoodTime, ModernLoop, Guide, Ashby).
  • Ability to negotiate with business units to balance global standardization with local customization.
  • Extreme accountability and ownership, turning breakdowns into structural operational guardrails.
  • Inclusive leadership with a growth mindset, committed to developing people and building psychologically safe, diverse teams.
