As a Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA) Manager supporting the Digital Native Business (DNB) segment, you will build, lead, and inspire a team of DSAs who help fast-growing customers accelerate their journey from idea to production on the Databricks Platform. The team focuses on accelerating use case onboarding, enabling production workloads, and driving success in production. You will report to the Director of Delivery Solutions Architecture for the Digital Native Business Unit.
Responsibilities
- Hire, coach, and grow DSAs capable of guiding DNB customers to production success across Data, AI, and ML workloads.
- Inspire the team to minimize friction, remove blockers, streamline onboarding, and get high-impact workloads into production faster.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of Databricks and the broader Data and AI ecosystem, continuously learning and achieving certifications.
- Partner with Sales, Solutions Architects, Support, Product Engineering, and Professional Services to build integrated customer plans that accelerate adoption and deliver ROI.
- Establish mechanisms for tracking, forecasting, and communicating workload progress, usage growth, and customer health.
- Serve as technical sponsor for select DNB accounts, engaging tech leads and executives.
- Drive initiatives that enhance consistency, scalability, and innovation across the DSA organization.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in customer-facing technical roles (Architecture, Field Engineering, or similar) focused on Data and AI, including 3+ years leading technical teams.
- Experience with cloud-based Lakehouse architectures, guiding customers through migrations and modernization with cloud-native architectural principles.
- Proven track record accelerating workloads to production on cloud-native platforms.
- Hands-on experience in SQL and an object-oriented programming language (preference for Python, SQL, or Scala), code reviews, and architecture design sessions.
- Expertise in Data and AI domains such as Analytics, Data Warehousing, ETL, Streaming, and/or ML/AI productionization.
- Experience with hyperscaler platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a strong plus.
- Ability to manage escalations, forecast usage growth, and operationalize customer success programs.
- Strong communication and executive presence; trusted advisor to technical leaders and C-level stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed.
Compensation
Local pay range: $197,100—$270,975 USD. Total compensation may include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
