Who we are

At Twilio, we’re shaping the future of communications, all from the comfort of our homes. We deliver innovative solutions to hundreds of thousands of businesses and empower millions of developers worldwide to craft personalized customer experiences. Our dedication to remote-first work, and strong culture of connection and global inclusion means that no matter your location, you’re part of a vibrant team with diverse experiences making a global impact each day.

About the job

As Marketing Strategy & Planning Manager, you will be a critical engine driver of our global marketing organization. In this role, you will turn strategic vision into operational reality—managing the infrastructure, processes, and data-driven insights that allow our marketing team to scale predictably and efficiently. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of analytical execution and sharp project management skills. You will help manage the day-to-day rhythm of the business, translating complex data into actionable insights while maintaining a high bar for operational rigor.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning: Translate business goals into actionable marketing strategies and scalable operational frameworks.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Deep-dive into complex marketing performance data. Surface trends, identify bottlenecks, and package these findings into clear, actionable reports that support leadership in crafting the overarching performance narrative.
  • Analyze the Funnel: Diagnose opportunities to improve the marketing funnel and pipeline creation. Maintain and optimize our marketing measurement foundation. Track and analyze account-to-opportunity mapping, pipeline attribution models, and funnel velocity metrics to provide clarity on GTM performance.
  • Operational PMO: Lead day-to-day Marketing project management. Track the execution of critical cross-functional initiatives, translating high-level corporate goals into actionable project roadmaps with measurable results.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the strategic communication bridge between Marketing & GTM.

Qualifications

Required:

  • The High Operator: 3-5 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, or Management Consulting within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • The Cross-Functional Connector: Exceptional collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to work across matrixed teams (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Analytics) to break down silos and drive projects to completion.
  • Analytical & Data-Driven: Strong proficiency with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau), CRM platforms (Salesforce), and marketing automation systems. You don't just pull numbers; you naturally look for the story and the 'why' behind the data to inform prioritization decisions.
  • Technical Fluency: Comfortable navigating technical conversations regarding data architecture, API integrations, and lead routing, while equally comfortable discussing core business metrics like CAC, LTV, and ROI.
  • Project Management: Excellent organizational and project management skills. You thrive in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments and can manage multiple competing priorities without losing attention to detail.

Desired:

  • Experience working on or with AI products (e.g., LLMs, copilots, RAG apps, workflow tools).
  • Experience with Tableau or other BI platform.
  • Experience leading significant cross-functional initiatives with minimal oversight.
