*OneChronos | Technical Lead (Hands-On Distributed Systems) | NYC (HQ) | Flexible | Full-Time*

We're looking for a *Technical Lead* to help shape the high-performance trading systems powering our periodic auction matching infrastructure. This is an engineering-first leadership role where you'll spend the majority of your time building production software while guiding technical direction, mentoring engineers, and leading some of our most challenging initiatives.

We build production systems in Rust and are looking for engineers with meaningful Rust, C++, or Java experience, particularly from backend or systems-oriented environments. We're also hiring exceptional Systems Engineers interested in tackling low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems at scale.

We're especially interested in engineers who:

* Lead through technical excellence while remaining deeply hands-on * Have built complex backend or distributed systems in production * Are passionate about performance, concurrency, and correctness * Enjoy mentoring engineers and driving technical direction

*ESTIMATED COMPENSATION:* Salary range: *$200,000-$250,000* with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
