Role Overview

The Fleet Reliability Operations Team is responsible for provisioning, updating, and triaging server nodes, and executing processes and tooling that configure and validate the server fleet. The team responds to hardware issues in production and drives automation and observability design for the fleet lifecycle. As Operations Manager, you will lead a 24/7 team of reliability and observability-focused engineers, develop a strong pipeline of talent, manage onboarding and training, and champion reliability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a 24/7 team of process-oriented, reliability and observability-focused engineers.
  • Lead the socialization and documentation of clear and consistent processes for provisioning, validating, and troubleshooting nodes.
  • Advocate for process and automation improvements, prioritizing event-driven automated remediation.
  • Provide 24/7 engineering support for high-criticality, time-sensitive node delivery and maintenance.
  • Drive and improve onboarding, documentation, enablement, and performance management.
  • Drive the culture and tone for how the team communicates and supports each other and enables the rest of CoreWeave.

Qualifications

  • Seven or more years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering, with at least two years in a leadership capacity.
  • Knowledge and practice of SRE fundamentals, incident management, blameless culture, observability, and change management.
  • Belief in the value of automation and championing practices that drive reliability.
  • Comfortable extending influence to partners, peers, and senior leadership.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $143,000 to $191,000. Total rewards include discretionary bonus, equity awards, and comprehensive benefits (based on eligibility).
