About the role

Flexdrive, a subsidiary of Lyft, is seeking an Operations Lead to join their team in Philadelphia. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will lead a team of Operations Associates and oversee a fleet of vehicles. You will drive operational excellence, foster a culture of continuous improvement through data analysis, and deliver on key performance metrics. At a Flexdrive facility, you and your team will support the community through Lyft's Express Drive program.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for your market's business health, delivering on Flexdrive OKRs by analyzing market-level data, managing fleet operational costs, and identifying process improvements.
  • Lead the team assisting Lyft drivers through the end-to-end rental process of the Express Drive Program, ensuring team members are up-to-date on trainings and processes.
  • Foster team member growth through regular 1:1 meetings, professional development discussions, and constructive feedback.
  • Drive high utilization metrics by managing the vehicle supply lifecycle (in-fleeting, maintenance, decommissioning, disposition) and reducing out-of-service time.
  • Responsible for talent retention, serving as hiring manager, and owning the onboarding process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and partners to optimize vehicle quality and turnaround time.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for site maintenance, security, and safety.

Experience

  • Passionate about delivering great customer experiences.
  • 4 years experience managing Retail, customer service, or vehicle rental team.
  • 3+ years managing hard assets in a fleet management business (car rental, FMC, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience managing vendors and partners.
  • Ability to coach and develop team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Lover of dashboards, data, and metrics.
  • A valid unrestricted driver's license and satisfactory driving record, insurable under Lyft's policy.

Compensation

Expected base pay range for this position in the Philadelphia area is $53,860 - $67,320, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus, or benefits.
