About the Role
Join the Mosaic AI research team at Databricks to push the frontier of domain adaptation for LLMs and AI systems. Work on open research problems including scaling/automating evaluation, fine-tuning with synthetic data, retrieval augmentation, and fast/efficient inference. Projects may involve adapting, improving, and evaluating methods from the literature, designing new methods for domain adaptation, composing methods for efficient post-training, and evaluating LLMs and AI systems.
Qualifications
- Research experience and proficiency in deep learning fundamentals
- Pursuing a PhD in computer science or related fields (electrical engineering, neuroscience, physics, math, etc.)
- Proficient software engineering skills, including with PyTorch
Compensation & Benefits
