Platform Engineer - Kubernetes responsible for developing and maintaining Application Hosting Infrastructure on Kubernetes in GCP. Part of a small, focused team prioritizing automation and security.

• Design scalable infrastructure solutions for core applications.
• Implement infrastructure as code practices.
• Monitor system performance, optimize resources, integrate cloud services.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Design scalable build systems.
• Ensure compliance with security regulations.
• Collaborate with Infosec and engineering teams on incident response and CVE remediation.
• Analyze cloud spending for cost optimization.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Crossplane.
• 5+ years with cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate or equivalent certification.
• Knowledge of service mesh architectures such as Istio or Linkerd.
• Hands-on experience with cloud security practices and tools.
• Experience with cost management tools.
• Led cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with Elasticsearch is a plus.

Base salary only. Typical starting range: $94,300—$149,200 USD. In select locations (Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, San Francisco Bay Area CA, New York City Metro Area): $113,300—$179,200 USD. Eligible for Elastic's stock program.
