Pre-sales Engineer (DACH)

As a Solutions Consultant at Asana, you will support prospects in the DACH region, leveraging deep product knowledge to translate customer needs into tool-based solutions. You will partner with EMEA Sales teams as a co-seller, driving account strategy and helping customers imagine new ways of working. This role is based in Munich with an office-centric hybrid schedule (in-office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday; work-from-home Wednesday; Friday depends on team).

• Be a thought leader in AI-powered Collaborative Work Management
• Partner with Sales to develop account strategy for key accounts
• Develop deep understanding of customer needs and articulate Asana's value
• Identify and scale solution-selling best practices
• Position Asana as a market leader
• Support presale scale motions such as office hours and content generation

• 3+ years in Presales, Solutions Consulting, Technical Sales, Sales Engineering or similar, preferably in SaaS
• Proven ability to influence senior-level decision-makers
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies
• Proficiency in developing product demonstrations (decks, briefs, whiteboards)
• Experience running customer Proof of Concepts
• Conversational-level experience with JSON and RESTful APIs
• Experience in AI technology (LLMs, AI-powered automation) and business models
• Professional fluency in German and English; French appreciated
• Located in Munich, willing to travel on-site with customers up to 30%

Estimated OTE salary range: €119,000 - €160,000. Package may include equity, sales incentive pay, and benefits such as mental health/wellness/fitness benefits, career coaching, family building benefits, retirement plans, and in-office culinary options.
