This position is needed to bridge complex, multi-year enterprise deal structures with seamless, institutional-grade product usage experiences. You will empower global sales teams by architecting intuitive commercial frameworks and building secure infrastructure for large corporate clients to manage financial assets and usage across Twilio. We seek an entrepreneurial leader passionate about solving technical scaling challenges at the intersection of traditional enterprise systems and next-generation technology.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and drive the multi-year product roadmap for the consumption based billing ecosystem, aligning with corporate treasury, finance and GTM teams. Own the long-term vision for building extensible capabilities that support complex, multi-year, sales-led agreements.
- Governance & Security Infrastructure: Design robust, multi-user approval workflows, role-based privileges, and integrate institutional-grade security models.
- API & Developer Experience: Champion the developer journey and experiences.
- Compliance & Treasury Integration: Collaborate with legal, compliance, and engineering teams to ensure the platform meets global regulatory payment and consumption billing standards.
Qualifications
Required
- 10+ Years of Product Leadership: A proven track record of managing high-impact products within SaaS, PaaS, FinTech, or developer platform ecosystems.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset & Strategic Acumen: A self-starter attitude with a deep understanding of how large B2B organizations, GTM teams, and complex, multi-year enterprise sales cycles operate.
- Consumption Billing: Familiarity with modern large scale consumption billing infrastructure, enterprise payment and billing management.
- Strong Technical Chops: The ability to go deep with engineering teams. You are comfortable discussing architectural trade-offs regarding APIs, scalability, and highly distributed ledger systems.
- Mastery of Cross-Functional Communication: Exceptional storytelling skills, with a knack for aligning internal executives, legal/compliance teams, sales orgs, and external enterprise stakeholders.
Desired
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
- Domain Experience: Prior experience building monetization, billing, pricing engines for top-tier platforms (e.g., AWS, Stripe, Snowflake).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SQL/analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Tableau), agile delivery frameworks, and a track record of driving cross-functional alignment in remote-first cultures.
Location
This role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.
Travel
You may be required to travel occasionally to participate in project or team in-person meetings.
Compensation
Based on location, the estimated pay ranges are: $171,120 - $213,900 (Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont, or Washington D.C.); $181,200 - $226,500 (New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California outside SF Bay area); $201,280 - $251,600 (San Francisco Bay area, California). This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan.
