Procurement Manager

The Procurement Manager will lead the procurement program at Mixpanel, managing a team of two. Responsibilities include overseeing organizational spend, maximizing vendor value, optimizing procurement processes, minimizing risk, and assisting business partners with procuring third-party tools and services. The role requires strategic and operational skills, people management, and a focus on continuous improvement.

• Manage and develop a team of two, coaching through skill-building, career growth, and performance.
• Lead complex procurement projects across functions, setting priorities and anticipating challenges.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Security, IT, and Legal on purchasing processes and improvements.
• Build strategic vendor relationships to leverage discounts and maximize value.
• Promote innovation through process improvements and targeted use of AI and emerging tools.
• Provide procurement process training to employees.
• Shape and communicate a vision for the procurement team aligned with Operational Finance goals.

• 5+ years of experience as a Procurement Specialist or Manager, including managing or leading others.
• Experience in SaaS companies and working directly with vendors.
• Experience with procurement improvement initiatives.
• Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment.
• Strong data management and analytics skills.
• Ability to negotiate and sustain relationships.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Track record of coaching and developing team members.
• Adaptability, agility, and resilience.
• Comfort presenting to C-suite.

Total target cash compensation (TTCC) range: $147,000—$221,000 USD. Eligible for equity and benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance, mental wellness benefit, generous vacation policy, additional company holidays, enhanced parental leave, volunteer time off, pre-tax benefits including 401(K), wellness benefit, and holiday break.
