Overview
Dropbox is seeking an experienced Compensation Business Partner to join its Compensation Team. This client-facing role partners with HR and business leaders to design and implement compelling compensation programs, advise on complex matters, and support strategic alignment.
Responsibilities
- Drive Dropbox's compensation philosophy, design, and programs for client teams.
- Build consultative relationships with HR partners, business leaders, and executives.
- Act as a trusted advisor on compensation decisions with data-backed recommendations.
- Research best practices, analyze program effectiveness, and present findings.
- Contribute to enterprise-wide compensation programs, including job architecture, market benchmarking, and review cycles.
- Design and deliver compensation training and education materials.
- Collaborate with Recruiting to ensure fair and equitable new hire offers.
Requirements
- BA/BS in related field.
- 7+ years of experience in-house or advising, preferably in technology or compensation consulting.
- Experience with job evaluation, market matching, job pricing, compensation review cycles, and global practices.
- Strong change management, project management, and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Databricks, or similar tools.
- Experience using AI tools for compensation analytics.
Compensation
US Zone 2: $150,400—$203,400 USD; US Zone 3: $133,600—$180,800 USD. This role is not available in Zone 1.
