Senior Data Analyst, People

Fivetran, a data integration company, is hiring a Senior Data Analyst to support its People organization. The role focuses on turning complex people data into insights across the employee lifecycle, partnering with leaders in People, Recruiting, Finance, and the broader business. This is a full-time, flexible hybrid position based in Oakland, CA or NYC, NY.

• Define and own core People metrics, including headcount, hiring, retention, and employee experience.
• Build scalable analytical products: canonical datasets, models, and self-service dashboards.
• Translate analyses into clear narratives for audiences from operators to senior leadership.
• Improve Fivetran's HRIS and ATS connectors with engineering.
• Establish practices for data quality, governance, and responsible use of sensitive employee data.
• Mentor analysts and help People teams develop data fluency.

• 5+ years in analytics, data science, or business intelligence.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with Looker, Tableau, Sigma, or similar BI tools.
• Strong analytical judgment, communication, and data storytelling.
• Comfort with ambiguity and end-to-end problem ownership.
• Preferably experience at a high-growth, SaaS, or B2B product company.
