Senior Engineering Manager, Security

We are seeking an Engineering Manager, Security to lead and grow our Security Engineering organization. This role translates high-level security strategy into technical reality, ensuring resilient infrastructure and world-class internal security tooling. It is a leadership role accountable for people management, technical mentorship, and delivery of high-impact security initiatives in a high-growth SaaS environment.

• Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary engineering team, fostering technical excellence and accountability.
• Own the security engineering roadmap, ensuring high-quality delivery and measurable risk reduction.
• Drive recruiting efforts and establish clear career paths.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to embed security into system designs and workflows.
• Oversee complex design reviews and provide pragmatic guidance.

• 8+ years in security or software engineering, including 3+ years managing engineering teams.
• Strong software engineering background with ability to participate in deep-dive design reviews.
• Deep understanding of application security (OWASP), cloud-native architecture, and identity frameworks (OAuth, OIDC, SAML).
• Hands-on experience with security controls in AWS or similar cloud environments.
• Balance security requirements with business needs and communicate rationale.
• Value automation and have a track record of shipping internal tools.
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies.

Estimated base salary range: $264,000 - $300,000. Additional components may include equity, sales incentive pay, and benefits.
