Role
We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build a petabyte-scale, high-performance observability platform with a focus on developer experience.
Responsibilities
- Own and build key features for frontend and backend systems.
- Collaborate with open-source contributors and customers.
- Tackle technical challenges to scale the cloud-hosted platform.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, preference for developer tools.
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills (Next.js frontend, Express backend).
- Strong proficiency in React.js.
- Proficiency in SQL for query generation on ClickHouse.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Passion for open source and developer community.
Bonus Points
- Expertise in distributed systems and event ingestion pipelines.
- Experience with columnar databases.
- Strong opinions on observability tools.
- Familiarity with additional languages like Python, Rust, or PHP.
- Experience with SDKs.
Compensation
The typical starting salary for this role in the US is $130,000—$208,000 USD. Premium market ranges (e.g., SF Bay Area, NYC) are $141,000—$230,000 USD.
