Senior Full Stack Engineer, Enterprise, Feature Management

The Enterprise team builds LaunchDarkly for the customers who push it hardest: global banks, national health systems, and Fortune 100 manufacturers. You will own features end to end, in Go on the backend and TypeScript and React on the frontend, focusing on governance and access control, scale and performance, programmatic control, and resilience under real constraints.

• Own features end to end: problem framing, technical design, implementation across backend and frontend, rollout, and operational life.
• Design for enterprise constraints: permissions, access control, approval and audit requirements, data residency, and regional isolation.
• Find and fix scalability and performance limits before customers do.
• Extend public API, Terraform provider, and configuration surfaces.
• Work directly with customers on escalations and discovery calls.
• Raise operability: observability, runbooks, on-call rotation.
• Drive alignment across teams and mentor/review.

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Genuine full stack ability: strong in a statically typed backend language (Go) and comfortable owning frontend work (TypeScript, React).
• Experience building for enterprise customers: multi-tenancy, roles/permissions, SSO/identity, audit logging, approval workflows, or compliance.
• Demonstrated work on scale and performance problems.
• API design judgment.
• Comfort talking to customers.
• Collaborator across time zones (EMEA stakeholders).
• Clear writing.

Compensation: Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones for Level 4: Zone 1 (SF/Bay Area, NYC, Boston, Seattle): $191,800 - $263,670; Zone 2 (Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago): $172,600 - $237,270; Zone 3 (all other US locations): $163,000 - $224,070. RSUs, health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits in addition to salary.
