Senior Manager, M&A Integration

MongoDB is hiring a Senior Manager, M&A Integration to help build and run the operational backbone for how MongoDB integrates its acquisitions, translating each deal thesis into a durable business outcome. This role reports to the Chief of Staff to the CFO and partners closely with the Corporate Development team. The role can be based in New York City, Austin, or Palo Alto for our hybrid working model or remotely in the United States.

• Integration Strategy & Planning: Partner with Corporate Development from LOI onward to translate the deal thesis into clear integration goals, success criteria, and a high-level operating model. Build and maintain MongoDB's integration playbook, support governance for each transaction, and define workstreams and DRIs.
• Cross-Functional Execution: Serve as the day-to-day integration lead for assigned deals, supporting governance cadence (standups, cross-functional reviews, status updates) and holding business owners across Legal, HR, Finance & Accounting, IT, Go-to-Market, Marketing, and Product & Technology accountable to plan. Manage dependencies and risks, facilitate decisions, and escalate material issues.
• People & Change Management: Partner with HR on Day 1 planning, org design, role mapping, and retention plans. Track talent risk indicators and serve as a steady point of contact for acquired employees during transition.
• Reporting & Synergy Realization: Track integration KPIs per deal, partner with Corp Dev and FP&A to tie progress back to the deal thesis, maintain a deal-level view of status, and present integration status to stakeholders.
• Process Support: Build and maintain MongoDB's integration toolkit, engage early in the deal lifecycle to assess integration complexity, use AI-enabled tools to standardize playbooks, and contribute to retrospectives.

• Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 8 years of progressive professional experience, including at least 5 years leading or directly supporting M&A integration, post-merger integration consulting, corporate development integration, or complex cross-functional transformation programs.
• Experience within a technology or software organization is strongly preferred.
• Experience owning integration workstreams or full integrations for individual deals, with clear accountability from planning through post-close execution.
• Experience partnering with Corporate Development from LOI through close.
• Experience across deal types, including product and talent tuck-ins.
• Strong program management discipline, comfort operating cross-functionally, and cross-functional depth across Legal, HR, IT, Finance & Accounting, Go-to-Market, Marketing, and Product & Technology.
• Change management experience, high-ownership, low-ego operator, and highly trustworthy.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is $95,000—$187,000 USD.
