Senior Manager MLRO, Compliance

Affirm is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to oversee compliance with the FCA and manage Financial Crime and AML issues within the UK entity. This role will serve as the designated Money Laundering Reporting Officer (SMF17) subject to approvals.

• Provide second-line oversight of the UK financial crimes compliance program, including AML, sanctions, and suspicious activity governance.
• Lead the development of the Financial Crime Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP) and the Business-wide compliance risk assessment (BWRA).
• Oversee suspicious activity escalation, internal referral, and reporting governance.
• Prepare the annual MLRO report for senior management and the Board.
• Support internal/external audits, regulatory examinations, and bank partner reviews.
• Maintain and enhance UK financial crimes policies and procedures.
• Partner with Legal and global Financial Crimes leaders to maintain an effective control environment.

• Extensive knowledge of FCA and other servicing regulations.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing effective compliance programs.
• Exceptional analytical skills.
• Experience with AML, sanctions, and financial crime compliance.

GBR base pay range per year: £120,000 - £168,000. Total compensation may include equity rewards and monthly stipends for health, wellness, and tech spending.
