Senior Pre- & Post-Sales Customer Engineer, Enterprise

As a Senior Customer Engineer on the Customer Engineering team, you will own strategic and complex Enterprise accounts across acquisition, implementation, adoption, expansion, and escalation. You will lead technical strategy, resolve ambiguous customer challenges, and partner with account teams to drive retention and expansion.

• Partner with Account Directors on pre-sales motions, including tailored demos and technical evaluations.
• Lead onboarding for strategic customers, including planning, implementation, integrations, and training.
• Identify expansion opportunities and diagnose adoption stalls.
• Serve as escalation point for complex technical challenges.
• Build playbooks, coach peers, and improve team workflows using AI tools.
• Assess account health and drive measurable improvement in retention and expansion.

• 5-8 years in a customer-facing technical role (Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, TAM, etc.)
• Deep hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
• Proven experience managing strategic Enterprise accounts.
• Ability to solve ambiguous problems.
• Experience connecting technical execution to business outcomes.
• Hands-on use of AI tools in daily work.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.

• Experience with Pendo, digital adoption platforms, product analytics, or in-app experience tooling.
• Mobile app development (Swift, Android, React Native).
• Familiarity with data architecture, AI/ML concepts, or advanced analytics instrumentation.
• Track record of building reusable frameworks.

On-Target Earnings (OTE) range: $193,393 - $241,742, with a 70/30 base-to-variable split.
