Senior Product Builder, Organizational Intelligence

We are looking for a Senior Product Builder to own the intelligence layer of our EPD Systems team. This role builds a cross-source interpretive layer that reads across Vanta's sources of truth, making them queryable and reasoned-over for EPD leadership, GTM, and beyond. You will ship working things yourself—prototypes, internal tools, and agent workflows—using AI as part of your work.

• Build the intelligence layer: a cross-source interpretive layer that reads across Vanta's sources of truth and makes them queryable and reasoned-over.
• Define what to build: scope problems, make tradeoffs, and own the sequence of what gets built.
• Ship working things yourself: prototypes, internal tools, agent workflows.
• Understand the organization: go to teams (GTM, G&A, EPD) to learn what they can't answer today.
• Catch and address AI-specific quality problems—reliability, cost, latency, drift, bad answers—before they cause damage.
• Build on top of the Signal Collection and EPD OS roles.

• You scope ambiguous problems yourself and are comfortable showing unpolished work.
• You've shipped real things with LLM tooling recently, and your approach has changed in the last six months.
• You change behavior across orgs you don't control through what you build and how you communicate.
• You know what quality means when building with AI: reliability, cost, latency, edge cases, drift.
• You find root causes and think through second- and third-order effects.
• No CS degree required; real, recent, shipped work and the ability to learn fast are what matter.

Base pay range: $176,000 – $207,000 USD per year, plus equity. Final offers may vary based on location, skills, experience, and credentials.
