About the job

About the role

Asana is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead AI Studio, its AI workflow builder, based in San Francisco. The Product Management team drives Asana's product strategy and execution, translating customer needs into a roadmap and delivering solutions for team productivity and collaboration. In this role, you will own an end-to-end AI product that powers millions of workflows, enabling large enterprises to build, govern, and deploy AI at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision and prioritized roadmap for AI Studio end to end, tying investments to customer impact, business outcomes, and Asana's mission.
  • Drive business outcomes for a consumption-based AI product: own reporting, forecasting, ROI, and define metrics connecting product usage to revenue.
  • Scale AI Studio to reliably support millions of workflows, ensuring quality, performance, and dependability for system-critical processes.
  • Ship automation capabilities for enterprise teams, from single-team workflows to processes spanning thousands of users.
  • Build for enterprise trust by shaping AI governance, admin controls, and change management capabilities.
  • Collaborate with large enterprise customers to understand complex workflow management and translate insights into the roadmap.
  • Partner with engineering, design, data science, and GTM teams to turn ambiguous problems into shipped, high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with a focus on AI, automation, workflow, or enterprise platform products.
  • Fluent in automation concepts: workflow builders, rules engines, orchestration, triggers/actions, and integrations.
  • Enterprise experience partnering with large customers managing workflows for thousands of users, including AI governance and change management.
  • Proven track record of owning business outcomes, including revenue or consumption metrics, reporting, and ROI analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with modern AI tools: building with LLMs, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, tool use, and evaluations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence cross-functional partners and leadership.
  • Experience with consumption/usage-based billing, AI evaluation systems, or enterprise AI deployments is a plus.

Compensation

Estimated base salary range: $202,000 - $230,000. Actual base salary varies based on market and individual qualifications. Additional components may include equity and benefits.

Benefits

  • Mental health, wellness & fitness benefits
  • Career coaching & support
