Senior Sales Engineer

As a Commercial Sales Engineer, you will work with the Commercial Sales team to understand customers' business needs and demonstrate how Fivetran's data replication solutions achieve desired outcomes. You will provide technical expertise, identify requirements, and ensure a successful proof-of-value throughout the sales cycle.

• Work with Commercial customers to understand their business, use cases, and data replication requirements.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations to Commercial audiences.
• Ensure the technical win by running an organized proof-of-value process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and sales representatives, maintaining customer focus and technical excellence.
• Stay current on industry technologies and trends.
• Assist team members with advanced technical or business roadblocks.

• 4+ years in data replication, sales engineering, or related technical field.
• Strong technical background in database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication technologies with hands-on experience.
• Experience with modern data analytics technologies, including cloud data warehouses, transformation tooling, data catalogs, and BI tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with other data replication or ETL tools.
• Experience with self-hosted software applications and supporting infrastructure.
• Hands-on networking experience in cloud and on-premise.

Denver Pay Range: $139,018—$173,772.50 USD; OTE: $173,772.50—$217,215.63 USD. Benefits include 100% employer-paid medical insurance, generous paid time off, RSU stock grants, professional development, cell phone stipend, and mental health support.

Full-time, hybrid role based in Denver, CO, with two days in the office per week.
