Senior Site Reliability Engineer

The SRE team is a small but crucial team that helps engineering partners “Operate What They Own” with excellence, defining frameworks and best practices for operating applications, building tooling, and providing training and consulting.

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team, leading engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems.
• Support peers and stakeholders in the product development lifecycle by collaborating with infrastructure, product management, developer experience, and analytics.
• Proactively identify technical solutions and operational processes that strengthen incident readiness, response, and post-incident analysis.
• Support operations and availability of your team’s artifacts by creating and monitoring metrics, escalating when needed, and supporting on-call efforts.
• Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting or improving code review and design standards.
• Help develop talent by providing feedback and guidance.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as a requirement.

• 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using scripting and development languages like Bash, Python, or Kotlin.
• Track record of developing highly available distributed systems using technologies like AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Meaningful experience contributing to or driving parts of the Incident Lifecycle process.
• 4+ years working in a Site Reliability or Production Engineering team.
• Experience defining technical plans for significant features or system components.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Base pay range per year: €86,000 - €122,000. Total compensation may include monthly stipends for health, wellness, and tech spending, and benefits including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental, and vision for you and your dependents. Remote Spain. Visa sponsorship is available, but the role requires being based in Spain.
