Senior Software Engineer

• Solve scaling bottlenecks in critical services
• Deploy new features to production with feature flags
• Investigate and fix production issues
• Design ways to scale services for more traffic
• Plan the most important projects with your team

• Significant experience in one or more languages
• Value code simplicity and performance
• Design architecture to solve problems at high scale
• BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience
• Demonstrated ability to use AI coding tools and design AI backend systems with awareness of quality, cost, and latency tradeoffs

Bonus points: experience with Redis, Cassandra, Kafka, data pipelines, statistics, Go, C, or Python, and excitement about leveraging AI tools.

The reasonably estimated yearly salary for this role is $192,000—$240,000 USD.
