Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack (App Experience)

The Marketplace and App Experience domain is the main pillar of our core consumer strategy, driving the user journey across all frontend surfaces: Mobile and Web. This role will be at the forefront of front-end facing cross-team projects, working closely with other teams and engineers across mobile and web technologies.

• Break down larger projects into individual tasks, deliver them in multiple phases, and collaborate with others to ensure timely delivery.
• Support peers and stakeholders in the product development lifecycle by collaborating with product management, design, and analytics.
• Support the operations and availability of your team’s artifacts by creating and monitoring metrics, escalating when needed, and supporting on-call efforts.
• Contribute to community by engaging in growth and development activities such as participation in the interview process.

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
• Experience shipping mobile apps using native or cross-platform languages like React Native.
• Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using languages like Kotlin or Python.
• Comfortable navigating a large code base, debugging others' code, and providing feedback through code reviews.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Base pay range per year: CAD $153,000 - $213,000. Total compensation may include monthly stipends for health, wellness, and tech spending, and benefits including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental, and vision for you and your dependents. Employees may be eligible for equity rewards.
