Senior Solution Engineer

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to work directly with the sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize on winning sales cycles, provide value-based demonstrations, support enterprise Proof of Concepts, and close business. The role involves presenting Snowflake technology to executives and technical contributors, working hands-on with prospects and customers from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation, and collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing.

• 7-8 years of industry experience with a minimum of 5 years in a pre-sales environment
• Outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences
• Broad experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies (e.g., Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric)
• Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python
• Ability to connect customer business problems to Snowflake solutions
• University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields preferred; Masters in Data Science or Business Administration is a plus
• Experience with GSIs (EY, Deloitte, Accenture, etc.) beneficial but not required
• Approximately 30% travel expected
