Senior Solutions Engineer

The Solutions Engineering team are customer-facing product experts. They enable Grafana Labs' growth by educating potential and existing customers through demos, hands-on enablement, presentations, technical evaluations, and ongoing interaction. They partner closely with the Sales team to qualify and close opportunities and serve as a primary route of communication from customers to Product Management and Engineering.

• Partnering with the Sales team to articulate the overall Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers
• Owning the technical engagement with customers and helping close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility
• Delivering product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers
• Effectively communicating with customers and internal teams to provide feedback on products and the competitive landscape
• Driving product conversations based on need and problems with customers
• Working with the team to enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create other enablement material

• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience
• Open to various and complex assignments, requiring strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership
• First-class written and oral communication skills to collaborate with remote-first internal teams and worldwide customers
• Ability to skillfully articulate the value proposition and technical advantages of products
• Love solving technical challenges and thrive on bringing creative solutions to customers
• Technical mindset and desire to grow technically
• Must be located in the Netherlands

• Experience with Open Source technologies, or in the Metrics/Monitoring space
• Experience with sales methodologies like MEDD(P)ICC

In the Netherlands, the OTE (On-Target Earnings) compensation range for this role is EUR 124,000 - EUR 148,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset. All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
