Senior Technical Recruiter

As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will partner closely with Software Engineering leaders to source, recruit, and close talented engineers across Verkada. You’ll own full-cycle recruiting for engineering roles, build targeted talent pipelines, and advise hiring teams on candidate profiles and recruiting strategy.

• Own the full-cycle recruiting process for Software Engineering roles, including sourcing, screening, process management, and closing
• Partner closely with Software Engineering leaders and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define candidate profiles, and develop recruiting strategies
• Build and maintain strong pipelines through proactive sourcing and creative engagement strategies across LinkedIn and other recruiting platforms
• Recruit across a range of Engineering roles and levels, from ICs through Manager+
• Present Verkada and the Software Engineering organization to candidates and help them understand the opportunity, team, and technical challenges
• Drive recruiting processes forward while balancing multiple priorities and maintaining strong communication with candidates and stakeholders
• Track and document candidate communications and activity in Greenhouse
• Deliver a high-touch, transparent, and thoughtful candidate experience

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally within a high-growth startup or technology company
• Experience recruiting Software Engineering talent across areas such as backend, full-stack, infrastructure, or other technical disciplines
• Strong ability to build trusted relationships and influence hiring decisions through collaboration
• Ability to operate independently and navigate a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs). Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable). Estimated Annual Pay Range: $150,000—$185,000 USD.
