Senior UX Researcher

Fivetran is looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join its rapidly growing Product org. This role will report to the Director of UX Research. The ideal candidate has a balance of research rigor and business focus, hits the ground running, leads by example, and collaborates well cross-functionally. You will dive deep into the daily lives of customers and apply that understanding to everyday product design decisions.

• Plan, manage, and execute user research programs across focused product areas.
• Collaborate with design, product, and analytics to build research projects aligned with stakeholder and user needs.
• Guide product and design on research methodology, question framing, and best practices for self-run studies.
• Identify emerging customer and user needs to support new product development.
• Synthesize learnings from past research and analytics data to tell compelling stories and lead ideation sessions.

• Experience conducting mixed-method qualitative and quantitative research.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating work, research philosophy, and impact.
• An entrepreneurial, self-motivated mindset with a bias toward action and the ability to lead projects through ambiguity.
• The ability to craft engaging presentations and compelling stories that influence stakeholders.
• A strong desire to understand users and how the product contributes to their success.
• Experience using AI to plan studies, synthesize feedback, and work more efficiently.

• Experience in the data industry.
• Experience with various survey methods, analysis, visualizations, and relevant data tools like SQL.

Pay Range: $174,391—$217,989 USD.
