About the job

About the role

This is a strategic role responsible for overseeing multiple interconnected web projects and driving complex digital initiatives that align with organizational objectives. It combines advanced program management expertise with strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and team leadership to deliver high-impact programs, bringing structure, streamlined processes, and best practices to the digital organization. The ideal candidate has previous experience working in a digital agency and/or internal digital department where high-quality results are required.

In this role, you will

  • Own all phases of complex, cross-functional digital programs, from inbound ticket management through planning to delivery, with a clear understanding of vision, scope, objectives, timelines, business value, and resource requirements.
  • Develop holistic program plans comprised of multiple project plan documents, including business requirements, technical specifications, schedules, funding, and resource plans.
  • Track milestones, tasks, and deliverables; provide timely status updates to stakeholders and senior executives; and proactively identify and mitigate risks and dependencies.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and delivery quality.
  • Serve as the strategic bridge between vision and tactical execution, translating high-level business objectives into actionable program roadmaps.
  • Interface with executives and senior leadership to align on priorities, communicate timelines and approval frameworks, and present program progress and website demonstrations.
  • Facilitate team discussions, resolve conflict, and remove impediments that block the team's ability to meet project objectives.
  • Orchestrate the efforts of cross-functional teams, including Creative, IT, PMM, Campaigns, and front-end development, to execute strategic launches, awareness campaigns, website updates, and other digital initiatives.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to define desired website functionality and appearance; lead the development team through product development stages and into live deployment.
  • Work effectively with external agency providers, consultants, and contractors as needed.
  • Document website development processes and procedures; establish and scale best practices across the digital program.
  • Introduce mitigation tactics to minimize project delivery risks and drive continuous improvement across programs.

Minimum requirements

  • 7+ years of project management experience at a digital agency and/or internal digital department with a primary focus on digital.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Airtable, Jira, Google Sheets) and experience with Google Suite, Salesforce, and Tableau.
  • Experience integrating AI tools into program management processes to increase efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of the digital production process, timelines, and scoping requirements.
  • Experience launching digital solutions, including ongoing analysis and continuous product improvements.
  • Working knowledge of the technical software development process and Agile delivery methods, including Scrum and/or Kanban.
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills — written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Ability to work effectively with agency providers, consultants, contractors, and other external suppliers.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving obstacles and risks in partnership with teams and stakeholders.
